We're officially a Deductible Gift Recipient, and here's why that's a big deal
We have some exciting news to share with our incredible community — All Access Motorsport is now a registered Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
This is a significant milestone for our organisation, and we want to take a moment to explain what it means, why it matters, and how it changes things for those of you who want to support our mission.
What is DGR status?
DGR stands for Deductible Gift Recipient. It's a formal recognition granted by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) that allows an organisation to receive tax-deductible donations from the public. In plain terms: when you donate to All Access Motorsport, you can now claim that donation as a deduction on your tax return — reducing the amount of tax you pay. To put it simply, a $100 donation might effectively cost you as little as $67, depending on your tax bracket. The ATO covers the rest.
What does this mean for donors?
If you've ever wanted to support All Access Motorsport but wondered whether your contribution would go as far as it could — this is your answer.
Here's what DGR status means for you as a donor:
Your donation is tax-deductible. Any donation of $2 or more made to All Access Motorsport can be claimed as a deduction in your annual tax return.
You'll receive a receipt. We'll issue you a formal tax receipt for every donation, which you can use when lodging your return.
Your generosity goes further. Because part of your donation is effectively subsidised by the tax you save, your dollar stretches further for our community.
You can give with confidence. DGR registration means we've met the compliance standards set by the ACNC — so you know your contribution is going to a legitimate, accountable organisation.
Why does this matter to us?
All Access Motorsport was founded on a simple but powerful belief: motorsport should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability.
We work hard every day to break down the barriers that prevent people of all abilities from experiencing the thrill of motorsport — whether that's as a driver, a crew member, a spectator, or simply part of our community. Every event we run, every partnership we build, and every barrier we break costs money.
DGR status changes the game for us. It means we can now attract donations from individuals, businesses, and corporate partners who want to make a meaningful, tax-effective contribution to inclusive sport in Australia. It opens doors to funding opportunities that were previously out of reach.
Simply put — this helps us do more, for more people.
